The Floral collar is made from lambswool, also know as virgin wool.  This is the first shearing of the sheep fleece. Lambswool is exceptionally smooth, soft and hypoallergenic. Characteristically it is much finer than adult sheep wool with a natural elasticity, making it a good choice of yarn for all knitwear, especially accessories of hats and gloves, as it offers such warmth.
